Our approach is different; we have not compromised on quality because we want the same reliability and excellent performance throughout our product range. We keep the same quality materials on all our products, but to succesfully reach the perfect price point, we instead take out some features.

- All-black anodized aluminum smooth and sock-friendly pedal plates allowing hours and hours of comfortable use. The pedal plates can be adjusted vertically

- Calibrations made in RaceHub will automatically be saved in our EPROM (Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory). This results in calibration (pressures, deadzones, and more) that will remain saved for every simulator/game (You do need to set 0 and 100% values in the game)

Brake System
- The M.L.C.P.C.™ (Mechanical Load Cell Powered Cylinder) patent-pending brake cylinder gives you the experience of driving a real race car
- Die-cast aluminum zero play pedal arm with integrated long durability ball bearings and bronze bushing at the clevis rotation point
- Load cell will sense up to 180 kg of force on the face of the pedal plate with the hardest elastomer (4000N depressed 12mm / until 2nd stage is engaged.)
- Geared ratio between pedal pressure and load cell deflection, ensuring constant and full resolution to any user independent of elastomer hardness. 4000 points in only 12mm inside the M.L.C.P.C.™ cylinder from released pedal to 2nd stage 1/5th of a human hair.

ASETEK SIMSPORTS® QUICK RELEASE
All Asetek SimSports® wheelbases feature our own quick release that is as easy to use as shifting gears – literally. To disconnect the wheel from the base, all you have to do is to press a paddle and the wheel will be in your hands! Needless to say, we are not relying on wireless signals, batteries that need to be charged, or cables that can break or fall off. Everything is included in our easy–to–use no–play quick release.
We realize that many sim racers have personal preferences for their steering wheel so instead of locking you into a specific eco-system, we have teamed up with a number of leading wheel vendors that will offer native support for the Asetek SimSports® Direct Drive wheelbases, meaning you can rest assured that you will be buying into a flexible and ever-expanding ecosystem.An Upgrade Mindset

At Asetek SimSports®, we want to be industry leaders, both in quality and thought. We want to revolutionize the definition of entry-level equipment in Sim Racing. What others call high tier, we call entry-level.

La Prima™ is our entry-level series, but it is not really entry-level products. Generally, entry-level often means lower quality materials, flimsy build quality equaling reliability issues, and shorter product lifetime. Our approach is different; we have not compromised on quality because we want the same reliability and excellent performance throughout our product range. We keep the die-cast aluminum, same quality ball bearings, adjustment screws, and more, but the way we achieve a lower price point is that we have simplified some of the milling processes, and taken some features off. As an example, we have removed the RGB light bar, which is a cool feature, but for most people it will not add to performance.
It is not only the no-compromise focus on quality and performance that is revolutionizing. It is the upgrade philosophy of Asetek SimSports®. The La Prima™ Pedals should be perceived as a platform where you can get in at a lower price point, and you can upgrade the pedals in stages as you can afford them, or as you progress and grow as a driver. It is better for you, it is better for us, but most importantly, it is better for the environment because you don’t throw away all the other stuff you have bought. You reuse everything you have already and get the option to upgrade to the pedals you desire. To upgrade, you simply buy your preferred upgrade kit, and all you pay for is the upgrade kit itself.

Mounting
MOUNTING OPTIONS
Mounting options As all wheelbases are designed from the ground up, we have been able to develop an extremely compact and flexible form factor accommodating any rig and need. The wheelbase will serve as the central hub in your simulator, where you can connect your Asetek SimSports® pedals, wheels, and future peripherals with up to 5 USB-S ports in the rear. In its simplest mounting form (default from factory), the bases come with T-nuts pre-installed in bottom grooves, enabling the motor to slide back and forth in your rig without installing long and expensive steering wheel spacers that ultimately can compromise the life and reliability of your wheelbase. For all wheelbases, we have developed mounting options for any rig, ranging from a bottom mount, side mount, and all the way to our integrated front mounts.
